Who we are?

Earth Pathways is a small cooperative which produces a diary and calendar showcasing the work of a wide variety of artists and writers whose work is placed within the seasonal cycle of the year. We donate a percentage of our profits to small, independent projects concerned with protecting the Earth. Earth Pathways Cooperative Ltd is an industrial and provident society.

What is this document?

This Privacy Notice is aimed at explaining what personal data we collect, how we collect it, why we collect it, what we will do with it, how we store it and when we delete it.
It will be reviewed regularly. When we make changes to this Privacy Notice we will update the 'last modified' date at the bottom of this document.

What information do we collect?

We collect a variety of different types of personal data for the following reasons.

1. Our Newsletter

The data collected for our email newsletter includes your name and email address and is processed and stored through a third-party service, Mailchimp. Their privacy policy can be found here. https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ We will NEVER share your name or email address with anyone else.
Sign-up for this list is done voluntarily by an individual; we will never add/update email addresses to this list without being first requested by the email account holder. We will use your email to send regular emails about our work at Earth Pathways, the offers available via our website, and seasonal and/or relevant news about our community. You have the option of leaving this email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button or emailing us at our admin email address and asking us to unsubscribe you.

2. Our online shopping cart

The data collected for our online shopping cart includes your name, postal address, email address and PayPal account information. PayPal's privacy policy can be found here. https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full We do not have access to the credit card details held by PayPal; we are able to see only details of the transaction that has taken place between you and us, via PayPal. We will NEVER share your name, postal address, email address or PayPal transaction details with anyone else.

We need your postal address to send you your goods. We will not keep a record of your personal or transaction details for any longer than is necessary. We are obliged by law to keep details of financial transactions for seven years.  We cannot control the records kept by PayPal. (see purchasing Ts and Cs for agreement criteria).

3. Cheques

The data collected for processing cheques includes your name, postal address, bank sort code and bank account number. We need your postal address to send you your goods. We are required to submit bank details when paying in cheques and we keep a copy for our own records. We will not keep a record of your personal or transaction details for any longer than is necessary. We are obliged by law to keep details of financial transactions for seven years. We will NEVER share your name, postal address or bank details with anyone else.4. Submission details

The data collected for processing submissions for the next year's diary and/or calendar includes your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, names of the pieces of artwork/writing submitted, and a short profile for use in the diary or calendar if you are successful. We need your postal address to send you a complimentary diary/calendar should your submission be successful. We may need to telephone you, or email you, to confirm details of your submission if a query arises. We will NEVER share these details with anyone else unless they form part of your short profile which will be published in our products and put on our Showcase Website. If you do not want your profile published in our products or on our website please let us know and we can omit them. admin@earthpathwaysdiary.co.uk

We process this data and store it safely, electronically. We will not keep a record of your personal details for any longer than is necessary. Please see the Ts and Cs for submitting to the diary and calendar for more details.

5. Cookies

6. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Access requests and deletion requests

You may make a request, at any time, to view the data we hold about you. We will provide that information free of charge and within one working month. Please contact us in the first instance by emailing admin or writing to us at the above address.
You may request, at any time, for us to delete your shopping cart account.
